Built in 2.5 weeks. Used every night.

Kitchen Sink started as a personal problem. After 13 years in automotive service operations at Tesla and BMW, the nightly dinner question was exhausting. Every recipe app assumed you already knew what you wanted to cook. None of them started with what you actually had.

Built from scratch in 2.5 weeks, launched January 23rd 2026, and hit 11,000 downloads in 10 weeks with zero paid advertising. Just real people sharing it with other real people who were tired of the same loop.

Kitchen Sink is built and maintained by a solo founder in Los Angeles. Every update comes from real user feedback.
